THE BIRTH OF A PROJECT

After receiving a production grant from the Digital Film Academy in recognition of a short film, Gabriel Klavun was given the use of digital production equipment towards a feature film. But Klavun was missing two of the most important ingredients for making a feature film: A Script and Money.

The first step was to write a script, and with great enthusiasm Klavun wrote a save-the-world-before-evil-wins action film. Klavun is the first to admit the script was a bit weak, but the larger problem was it was a large budget film and really could not be shot for less that $60 million dollars. Oops.

So Klavun went back to the drawing board with the goal of writing a story that was both interesting and could be shot on a low budget and a few months later a copy of Primal Legacy (then called The Simple Solution) rolled out of his printer.
